About the Book

Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros

Review by Ashley Gibson

“A dragon without its rider is a tragedy. A rider without their dragon is dead. Welcome to The Fourth Wing.”

Fourth Wing is a book for of action, suspense, fantasy, and anyone who loves dragons!

Fourth Wing follows Violet Sorrengail a General’s daughter. As she follows orders to not join the Scribe Quadrant, and instead join the most Elite of Navarre like her dead brother. and older sister before her, the Dragon Riders. Only problem with that is Violets has not trained to be a rider like her sister and her body is brittle her bones break easily and she is smaller. She trained in history and books not battle.

Therefore, to other riders she is an easy target for other cadets especially those who want an upper hand. With fewer dragons and more competition. Violet has to use what she knows to survive and hopefully bond with a dragon. Will violet survive, will she make friends? Will she bond? Read Fourth Wing and enjoy the page turning experience for yourself!

I chose Fourth Wing because as my book of the month because I couldn’t put it down! There is so much that happens in the book that it is nonstop action from page one not to mention the twists and turns this journey took me on. I will read it again before book two comes out in November!
